Sales Manager Desktop Solutions (m/f)

For our growing, competent European sales team in Mettmann, we are looking for a Sales Manager Desktop Solutions (m/f)

 

Your tasks:

  • Enable partners to resell identification products and successfully implement them

  • Develop new Partners in Europe. Assume accountability for achieving defined revenue targets.

  • Call on existing and potential clients to identify their current or perspective needs and provide information about products/services including demonstrations and quotations

  • Develop and implement strategies for the region that ensure attainment of company sales goals and profitability

  • Develop leads to potential new customers through various sources

  • Grow the companyís customer base through opening new accounts and develop a pipeline of opportunities through regular client meetings

  • Consult with partners to analyse and understand their customerís business needs and determine which products and services best fit their requirements

  • Research and develop sales presentations to effectively relate our solutions to potential customers' needs. Help partners to develop business proposals for presentation to clients, assemble expertise from other departments to ensure that all technical areas are covered

  • Lead customers through the sales process as trusted advisor and by providing outstanding support

  • Maintain thorough knowledge products/services, sales objectives and strategies, pricing and delivery/installation policies and practices to be able to respond to customer requests for information

  • Leverages marketing activities/events as well as attending relevant industry events and trade shows

  • Reviews impact of new product releases, new product features, delivery schedules, and competitor offerings with sales personnel

  • Maintain accurate records of all pricings and sales activities

  • Manage and ensure accurate and updated forecast

 

What's in your bag - Qualifications:

  • Successful sales experience in Europe within in the ID industry

  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

  • Ability to establish a dialogue with all levels of the client organization, including executives

  • Existing relationships with decision makers in Channel partners

  • New partner development experience

  • Genuine desire to succeed in sales role

  • Awareness of target markets and product offerings of competitors

  • Fluent in English (mandatory)

  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills

  • Excellent German language skills (mandatory)

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Strong service mentality to meet the client's interests at the heart of the relationship

 

Work Requirements:

  • travel and fieldwork in the region. Must be able to travel by car, train, airplane, etc. as needed

  • International travel will be required
